Season 5 Podcast 156 Book of Revelation “Opening of the Seven Seals, Q, Chapter 15:2-4 C “Sea of Glass cont.”

As we continue with the Sea of Glass, let us begin this podcast by discussing covenants as symbolized by the temple garments.

(Isaiah 61:10)

I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.

Also consider his further priestly accouterments.

Exodus 28:36-38

“And thou shalt make a plate of pure gold, and grave upon it, like the engravings of a signet, Holiness to the Lord. And thou shalt put it on a blue lace, that it may be upon the mitre; upon the forefront of the mitre it shall be. And it shall be upon Aaron’s forehead, that Aaron may bear the iniquity of the holy things, which the children of Israel shall hallow in all their holy gifts; and it shall be always upon his forehead, that they may be accepted before the Lord.”

Aaron and his sons are to be dressed in the garments of the Holy Priesthood when they enter into the Tabernacle of the Congregation.

Exodus 28:43

“And they shall be upon Aaron, and upon his sons, when they come in unto the tabernacle of the congregation, or when they come near unto the altar to minister in the holy place; that they bear not iniquity, and die: it shall be a statute for ever unto him and his seed after him.”

That is the forerunner of Solomon’s Temple. Only those who are cleansed from all sin as symbolized by the Molten Sea may enter the presence of God. The connection to Revelation 15 also becomes very clear. Everything in Revelation 21 is connected to Revelations 15 and 4. They are inseparable.

Revelation 21:10-11

“And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal;”

The connection also takes us back to 1 Kings 7 to Solomon’s Temple and the 12 oxen. We continue with Revelation 21:

Revelation 21:12-14

“And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel: On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates. And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.”

To students of the Holy Bible, there are no coincidences. All repetition is deliberate. Parallelism is the Hebrew form of cross referencing. The Temple of Solomon symbolizes the Celestial Glory. The Sea of Glass in Revelation 4 and 15 symbolizes the Celestial Glory. Consider Revelation 21:18

Revelation 21:18

“18 And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass.”

For further confirmation Revelation 21 brings us back to the temple image.

Revelation 21:21-23

“And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass. And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it. And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.”
